  • Tenure track: A four- to five-year contract with excellent prospects for tenure. Successful fellows may progress to a permanent faculty position as research group leader within one of Radboudumc's departments.
  • €1M research budget: Independent budget and freedom to define your own research line and build your own group.
  • Talent support: Automatic enrollment in the Hypatia learning track incl. personal and professional leadership training alongside your research.
  • An exceptional academic environment on a single, green campus that brings together Radboud University, one of the Netherlands’ leading research universities, and a world-renowned Max Planck Institute, located in a vibrant university town with a strong culture of innovation and sustainability.

Hypatia of Alexandria built her own school rather than wait for one to be built for her — a scientist who stood by her own ideas, unhindered by convention. The fellowship carries her name for researchers ready to do the same.
