Advanced x-ray imaging methods

Ioannis Sechopoulos's research group specializes in research on novel image acquisition, processing and analysis in diagnostic x-ray based imaging, particularly for breast and body computed tomography.

AI in thoracic oncology

Colin Jacobs's research group investigates how to develop robust and trustworthy artificial intelligence algorithms for medical imaging in the field of lung cancer, how to validate these algorithms in clinical practice, and how we can have the most impact with AI in healthcare.

Anatomy

Amanda Kiliaan's research group studies (cerebro)vascular risk factors for AD (hypertension, stroke, cSVD, obesity) using innovative neuroimaging and cognitive/motor tests, from mouse models to postmortem human brain and morbid obesity.
