Our purpose
The main aim is to prevent gynaecological cancers and deliver personalised care tailored to women’s life phase.
Goals
- Cancer prevention: Developing, evaluating and implementing personalized interventions to prevent gynaecological cancers with maintaining quality of life;
- Carcinogenesis: Understanding gynaecological cancer development and tumour behaviour with focus on the role of the female patient-environment (oestrogen-obesity-HPV), to develop personalized preventive and treatment methods;
- Preservation of fertility and ovarian function: Developing, evaluating and implementing interventions to maintain fertility and ovarian function in young women;
- Personalized care: Developing, evaluating and implementing interventions to improve personalized care and prevent late treatment effects, with a focus on profound psychosexual effects and quality of life in patients with gynaecological cancers.
