Our mission

We aim to perform high quality research in all aspects of supportive cancer care, incluiding symptom management, optimizing physical, emotional, role, social and cognitive functioning health-related quality of life of patients with cancer and to help maintain patients’ autonomy during all phases of their cancer journey.

  • To identify high-risk population subgroups. 
  • To identify the best supportive cancer care strategies. 
  • To evaluate the effectiveness of supportive cancer care. 
  • To understand mechanisms of action underlying effects of supportive cancer care. 
  • To improve implementation by understanding barriers and facilitators, process measures and shared decision-making models. 
  • To improve education for patients, professionals and students.
