Pediatric trauma and burn care

Parents of Amalia Children's Hospital patients with complex care needs are advised to always bring a bag with the following (for the first 8 hours) when visiting the hospital as an emergency:

  • Medication
  • Incontinence material
  • Nutrition
  • Specific care products

These are often specific care products that we do not always have in stock. So please bring these yourself to avoid unnecessary stress.

Pediatric trauma and burn care

At Amalia Children's Hospital, we treat children who have sustained injuries (wounds) after a serious accident. The accident, the ambulance ride and treatment in our children's hospital are experiences for children as well as for their family members that are deeply impactful.
