  • The masterclass aims to teach senior staff hospital doctors, pharmacists and policy makers. For most optimal course uptake, it is recommended to sign-up as a team of diverse specialties from the same hospital setting.

    • Senior medical hospital staff (ID, microbiology, clinical pharmacy, ICU, paediatrics etc.) who start to develop and / or implement an Antimicrobial Stewardship Program in their hospital / healthcare system /region / country and will train their colleagues;
    • Ideally (but not exclusively) oriented at teams of diverse specialties from the same hospital setting, responsible for the implementation of an Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, including both clinicians (microbiology, ID, clinical pharmacy) and policymakers.

  • This Training of Trainers (ToT) course is part of a DRIVE-AMS LMICs initiative, aimed at sustainable and long-term capacity in LMICs for Antimicrobial Stewardship in human health with One Health perspective and applicability. The course is intended for senior staff hospital doctors, pharmacists and policy makers from several countries in East Africa.
