Cancer Research Retreat of the Radboudumc - March 21 and 22, 2024
We hereby invite you for the Cancer Research Retreat of the Radboudumc. The Radboudumc Research Center for Oncology is organizing this event for March 21 and 22, 2024. Our goal is to stimulate the interaction of all cancer researchers within Radboudumc. You, as a cancer researcher (or interested health care provider), are invited to actively join this meeting.

After two successful retreats, the third edition of the Radboudumc Cancer Research Retreat will take place 21-22 of March. The goal of the retreat is to stimulate interaction between all cancer researchers within the Radboudumc. There will be invited lectures from external keynote speakers in the field and from established Radboudumc researchers and plenty opportunity for young researchers to present their work during laptop and plenary presentations. The best presentations will be awarded with a (modest) travel grant. Various research topics will be covered, ranging from fundamental and translational science to clinical and population sciences. There will also be an attractive social program to stimulate networking between Radboudumc researchers.
The retreat will take place at the Fletcher Landgoed Holthurnsche Hof (Berg en Dal), and will include an evening program and overnight stay. The target group for the event is all junior and senior researchers and all interested health care providers in the field of oncology.

The submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the program committee on:
1) originality/innovativeness
2) quality
3) relevance for patient/society/science
The best abstracts will be selected for a laptop (5 slides max) presentation during a dedicated session or an oral presentation during the plenary session. You will be notified about the outcome of the selection half of March. The researchers who give the best oral and laptop presentation during the retreat will be awarded with a (modest) travel grant.
