The Amsterdam Royal Palace Foundation organizes two annual symposia.During these meetings world-renowed speakers discuss social issues and current themes. The meetings are held in the Royal Palace Amsterdam and hosted by H.M. the King Willem Alexander.
Joost Hoenderop spoke with a group of 120 guests in the presence of King Willem Alexander, Queen Maxima and Princess Beatrix. The symposium started with a keynote lecture by Prof. Londa Schiebinger from Standford University about ‘Gendered Innovation’. During dinner this topic was further discussed in which the members of the royal House were also interlocutors.
