Radboudumc and partners Take Off 2 funding from NWO for Predica Diagnostics

Predica Diagnostics just secured the Take Off 2 funding to accelerate development of their cervical (pre)cancer prediction test. Their targeted RNA-sequencing based diagnostic test will reduce the number of unnecessary follow-up diagnostic testing and unnecessary referrals to gynecologists. By identifying only those women who truly need further evaluation or treatment, Predica can provide peace of mind and minimize stress for healthy women who test false-positive during screening. And at the same time save on healthcare costs!

The 2023 spring round of Take-off allows 31 feasibility studies and 10 early-stage projects to get underway. Academic and innovative startups can use the feasibility studies to explore whether their innovative ideas have commercial or social applicability. If this proves feasible, they have the opportunity to start a business. The feasibility studies are for both academic applicants and startups from Applied Research Organizations (TO2). This time, 4 projects were also awarded again within the Commit2Data cluster.
