We are specialized in mechanical testing, computational analyses, histological analyses and animal testing. Our strength lies in combining these techniques.
Areas of research include:
- recovery of bone defects in revision surgery
- design and preclinical testing of artificial joints
- biomaterial research and tissue engineering
- fracture prediction
- mechanobiology
- orthopedic traumatology
- traumatic spinal cord injury
- clinical examination of hip replacement surgery
- oncology of the support and movement device
