RIMLS travel Grant for Lisanne Gommers

Lisanne Gommers has been awarded with the RIMLS travel grant during the annual RIMLS New Year's affairs and drinks event.

Lisanne Gommers attended the Keystone Symposium on microbiome research, which was held in Montréal from 10th -14th of March 2019. During this meeting Lisanne presented and discussed her work on the role of the gut microbiome in proton pump inhibitor (PPI)-induced hypomagnesemia.

This Keystone meeting allowed scientists in the field of microbial biology and chemistry to discuss high quality science on innovative new methods and/or hypothesis-driven research to understand microbial systems at the molecular level. Due to the relatively small size of the meeting and its interdisciplinary focus, it allowed Lisanne to discuss her work with international experts in different fields of microbiome research.
