About our equipment
With our SARRP we can irradiate tumors in animals with varying doses. Our Physicists and technicians will determine the settings of the equipment and after that treatment with a dose varying from almost zero to >50Gy is possible.

The SARRP from Xstrahl is a self-contained X-ray system for delivering a precise radiation dosage to specimens in a biological or small animal research laboratory. The SARRP can deliver radiation CT guided. This allows to irradiation of small animals similar to the clinical situation. The X-ray tube is used specifically for radiation therapy having a highly homogenous beam.

The X-ray tube is used specifically for radiation therapy having a highly homogenous beam. Our current setups can be used for:
- Cell irradiation (cell culture flasks, multi-well plates, chamber slides)
- Tumor irradiation of mice with a tumor at hind leg; fluoroscopy guided, high throughput)
- Orthotopic tumor irradiation; CT guided (low throughput)
- Total body irradiation (mice)
