RIHS Patient Involvement Award

Since RIHS values patient engagement in research, we launched the RIHS Patient Involvement Award in 2020. This prize recognizes a RIHS researcher or research team that actively involves patients or groups of patients in the different phases of research in a high quality and meaningful way.

Application guidelines

Since RIHS values patient engagement in research, we launched the RIHS Patient Involvement Award in 2020. This prize recognizes a RIHS researcher or research team that actively involves patients or groups of patients in the different phases of research in a high quality and meaningful way.

One member of the Radboudumc Patient Advisory Board (PAR) and last year's winner will review the nominations.

RIHS researchers may submit max. 1 nomination for each award. Please submit your nominations to RIHS@radboudumc.nlDeadline for submission is 8 November 2022. 

Please submit:

  • Name(s) of responsible RIHS researcher(s)
  • Description of patient involvement (max 500 words). Please use the following headings (if applicable, it is not necessary to fulfill all 4 criteria) which will also be used as assessment criteria:
    • Patient involvement in the determination of the research questions
    • Patient involvement in writing of the research proposal
    • Patient involvement during data collection
    • Patient involvement during analysis and in dissemination
