Aims

It is our ambition to:

  • maximize impact of research by making optimal use of preclinical information and longitudinal clinical data through model-based analyses;
  • facilitate use of advanced pharmacometric methodology in clinical care;
  • support other research groups with population pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic data analysis and physiologically based mechanistic modeling;
  • be a center of excellence in pharmacometrics and to train the next generation of researchers.

Achievements

  1. We have developed improved dosing algorithms for rare complement-mediated diseases.
  2. We have enabled lung cancer chemoimmunotherapy in lung cancer patients with renal impairment and implemented this in practice.
  3. We have developed novel biomarkers for lung cancer immunotherapy.
  4. We have designed phase 2 clinical trials for a novel antimalarial drug using academic model-informed drug development.
  5. We have developed and implemented bedside model-informed precision dosing.
