Call for PhD proposals Master studentsFacilitating excellent students and involving research in education are key elements in the policy of the Radboud university medical center. The Executive Board of the Radboudumc has allocated funds to give top students the opportunity to perform research as a PhD candidate on a self-written project. For 2019 five projects are available.
MSc students who have ambitions to perform their research as a PhD candidate are called to submit a research pre-proposal for 2018. The application deadline is 19 September 2018, 1pm.

- A supervisor: a Radboudumc (junior) Principal Investigator who is intending to be your (co)promotor
- A curriculum vitae that shows you are an excellent candidate for the project

Educational Management TeamThe Educational Management Team ('Onderwijs Management Team - OMT') is involved in the main aspects of the MSc MMD, such as the recruitment of students, budget planning and monitoring, mentorship assignments, initiation of new modules, selection of new Masterclass topics, and the evaluation of the courses.

As an MMD student, you will have a personal mentor to help you plan your individual study program and to discuss future options. All MMD mentors are senior scientists of the Radboud Institute of Molecular Life Sciences and supervise one MMD student for the two years of the program.

The Radboudumc Study Fund is a scholarship for excellent students applying for the Master’s programs in Biomedical Sciences or in Molecular Mechanisms of Disease. The scholarship is highly selective.read more
Radboudumc Study Fund Scholarship for Master's studentsThe Radboudumc Study Fund aims to provide very promising students without sufficient financial means the opportunity to complete a Master’s program in Biomedical Sciences or in Molecular Mechanisms of Disease, and possibly enroll in the PhD program afterwards.
Therefore, every academic year this fund offers about nine full scholarships to Radboud University’s most excellent international applicants. Eligibility for a Study Fund scholarship depends on the interview results, the results from your previous education, and (if applicable) your work experience. Scholarship candidates usually rank among the best 5% of their class.
The Radboudumc Study Fund covers any (outstanding) tuition fees and living expenses. Please note no extra costs such as flight and travel are covered.
