Nils Rother of the department of Nephrology (group Johan van der Vlag), theme Renal disorders, has won the Young Investigator Award of the American Association of Immunologists at the 4th International symposium on Neutrophils that was recently held in Québec City, Canada.
His poster “Cleaved N-terminal histone tails distinguish between NADPH oxidase (NOX)-dependent and NOX-independent pathways of neutrophil extracellular trap formation” was selected as the very best from ~150 posters presented.-
