Our research is grouped into three research lines, all intertwined with our clinical work.

In the research line "Technical Innovations" we focus on novel approaches to solve clinical problems from a technical perspective. We aim to improve diagnostics, surgical outcome, procedures and aftercare using technology.
In the research line "Prediction modelling & outcome measures" we gather and process big data, perform clinical studies and visualize health care paths to select the optimal procedure for a specific patient.
In the research line "Wound care & treatment" we focus on wound care, biological factors, and emotional aspects associated with surgical interventions.
