The FUTURE biobank consists of residual biomaterial (serum and plasma) from the FUTURE study. The “Follow-Up of Transient ischemic attack and stroke patients and Unelucidated Risk factor Evaluation” (FUTURE) study is a prospective cohort study of prognosis of stroke in young adults. This study comprised patients aged 18 through 50 years with a TIA, ischemic stroke or intracerebral hemorrhage (1980-2010). The associated clinical data consists of baseline and clinical characteristics, including demographic data, stroke subtype and vascular risk factors.
