Aevai Health has developed Alva - a virtual assistant to engage research participants, which can support participants with health literacy, understanding research protocols, and with using measurement devices. They piloted Alva with 365 participants at Lifelines Biobank and showed that Alva reduced the support needed from staff. You can find their results in their Europe Biobank Week 2025 poster presentation. Aevai Health is looking for a new collaboration to customize Alva for a following research study, please contact Fennie van de Graaf if you are interested.
