Welcome to Research
We aim to augment the quality of life for vulnerable patients across all age groups and conditions, such as primary care, preclinical and clinical situations.
See some of the most important goals for this research program.
Arnt Schellekens's research group aims to reduce the tremendous burden of addictive disorders through translational research, linking basic science with clinical practice. The group focuses on disentangling clinical heterogeneity, in order to develop personalized addiction treatment strategies.
Kirsten Kluivers's research group focuses on complex benign conditions, in particular on pelvic floor problems, endometriosis, fertility (fertility preservation and male infertility) and congenital gynecological problems.
Hieab Adams's research group studies how this complex puzzle of genetic and non-genetic factors is linked to health.
