Advisory Council Biomedical Sciences

The Council advises on the content and quality of the Bachelor's and Master's programmes in Biomedical Sciences, in particular with regard to the connection with the professional field and the career perspective of graduates outside of academia and science. The Advisory Board assists the programme management with advice, both on request and on its own initiative.

Members of the Advisory Board are alumni of the study programme who have gained a prominent position in society outside the academy in the private or public sector.

Members are appointed by the Dean for a period of 3 years with the possibility of reappointment also for 3 years.

The Advisory Council meets at least once a year and as many times as the programme director or the chair of the Council deems necessary.

Current composition of the Council is:

- Martijn Nap, MSc, Director Consulting Services IQVIA

- Dr. Norbert Koper, Vice President Clinical Development Synthon

- Jan-Paul Kimmel, MSc, Social Responsibility Manager NXP Semiconductors
