Ronald Roepman, theme Renal Disorders and Rob Collin, theme Sensory Disorders, Donders Institute have been awarded a collaborative ZonMW-TOP grant (€675.000)
This grant will be used to investigate the mechanisms of photoreceptor cell apoptosis that are shared between different forms of inherited retinal degeneration. The results will be used for targeted identification and analysis of drugs that antagonize or delay the progressive process that leads to blindness.
