Curious what innovations happen within the Radboudumc? Are your friends and family interested in science and healthcare? Then take a look during the Online Discovery Days of the Radboudumc on 17 and 18 October. Everyone is welcome. Join us online and discover!

This year no Open Day at the Radboudumc, but a two-day Online Discovery Tour with activities for everyone.

Children can ask all their questions to a pilot of the trauma helicopter, make a virtual visit to the Teddy Bear Hospital and enjoy the view from the roof of the building crane. Secondary school children are of course also allowed to look at the helicopter deck, but a fun knowledge quiz has been developed especially for them. And they can participate in guided tours of many Radboudumc buildings, or watch videos of for example the 3Dlab, the OR and the emergency center.

Want to gain more knowledge? Then follow lectures by top scientists Bram van Ginneken (Does the computer see more than a doctor?) Teun Bousema (Discover the wonderful world of malaria) or Nicoline Hoogerbrugge (How do you detect hereditary cancers?) or let yourself be caught up in one of the talk shows about Corona, in which Jochem van Gelder takes you along in questions such as: 'what happens in your body when you get corona?' and 'are the current measures really necessary?’
You can also participate in a conversation about lifestyle and prevention via live chat.

There is much more. With a click of the mouse you can (almost) browse, discover and learn in all Radboudumc buildings. Do you want to participate?

For whom: Fun for everyone: children & adults.

Language: Most of the program is in Dutch

When: 17 and 18 October 2020
