This department is dedicated the treatment of the entire spectrum of neurosurgical diseases and to both clinical and basic science research in collaboration with other departments and study groups of at Radboudumc and other hospitals.Our research activities can be grouped in the following major areas:
- development of neurosurgical instruments and innovative operative techniques
- cranial nerve research
- peripheral nerve research
- spine research
- neuro-oncology
- pain modulation
- hydrocephalus and congenital disorders
