Upon request of DNA an applicant must indicate how many μgs of DNA is needed.Based on the standard concentration of 100 μg/ml, the Department of Human Genetics can calculate the required volume. A 20% margin will be used. Should the DNA concentration deviate more than 20% after retesting (<80 μg/ml), the Radboud Biobank will ensure the issue of a new sample. Note that the total amount of DNA available can vary greatly per person.
