This program aims to find ways to ensure sustainable access to effective, safe, timely, personalized, efficient and accessible infection prevention, diagnostics and antimicrobial therapy both in usual care and in outbreak settings.

Goals

  • To develop innovative infection prevention measures, diagnostic strategies, antimicrobial therapy and outbreak preparedness/response measures (innovation science).
  • To promote the systematic uptake of proven innovative care into routine practice, policy and guidelines (implementation science).
  • To ensure that insights obtained from research findings in the above two domains are translated into educational programs (educational research).
  • To extend methodology on efficient research design and data collection related to all the above domains.
