The Radboud Biobank has added the sub-biobank PLCRC (Prospectief Landelijk CRC Cohort – Surgical department) to the collection.

The PLCRC sub-biobank is part of the national platform for the collection of data from patients with coloractal carcinomas (https://plcrc.nl/). The collection includes clinical data, patient outcomes reported in surveys and the storage of blood and tumor tissue from patients with colorectal carcinomas. The aim of the cohort is to facilitate scientific research to improve the prognosis and quality of life for (future) patients.
