Glycosylation disorders in neurology

Dirk Lefeber's research group performs translational research on the metabolism of sugars and protein glycosylation in human genetic diseases affecting muscle and brain.

Neurological movement disorders

Bas Bloem's research group aims to develop innovative models of care for persons with Parkinson's disease. The focus is on development and evaluation of integrated, person-centered and proactive care.

Pathophysiology of movement disorders

Rick Helmich's research group aims to understand the cerebral mechanisms that give rise to neurological movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, tremor, and dystonia.
