Bladder
The Radboud university medical center is a tertiary referral center for the treatment of bladder cancer. Our research is acknowledged globally and ranges from basic studies into the pathogenesis and mechanisms of treatment response to large population-based studies into the associations between lifestyle and genetics and bladder cancer risk and prognosis. Interested in the topics in which we specialize? Visit the page on bladder cancer research.

Are you interested in an internship at our laboratory, are you motivated and enthusiastic, and do you have an internship period of at least 12 weeks? Then please send your resume and motivation by e-mail to the internship coordinator Gerald W. Verhaegh PhD. In principle, our places are reserved for students from the Radboudumc, the Radboud University (RU) and the University of Applied Sciences Arnhem-Nijmegen (HAN). For special internships and for the possibilities of supervision of (literature) theses and research proposals, or if you are part of another educational institution, please contact Gerald Verhaegh as well.
Given the limited number of places and a formal application procedure, we advise students to organize the internship periods well in advance.
