About the Biomedical Booster Event

The Biomedical Booster Event (BBE) offers a platform where Biomedical Sciences master’s students, companies, and alumni connect to explore career opportunities in the biomedical field. Through an engaging combination of an information market, interactive workshops, and networking sessions, students gain valuable insights and build connections for their future careers.

At the same time, organizations have the opportunity to meet motivated students, share their expertise, and present internship and career possibilities. Since its first edition in 2022, the event has attracted 150–200 participants annually, contributing to increased insight and inspiration for the next generation of biomedical professionals.


Organisation Team

This event is organized by four enthusiastic Master’s students from the Biomedical Sciences program. Since February 2026, we have been working hard to create a great event.

Registration for the event and workshops will open in the upcoming months. 

Good to Know

  • The event will take place at the Experience Center and will start at 12:45.
  • The program runs from 13:00 to 18:00, including a networking drink starting at 17:00.

Career fair and program overview

The main focus of the Biomedical Booster Event is the career fair held in the atrium of the Experience Center. Here, students can casually connect with various companies, gather information, and explore internship and job opportunities.

During the fair, two rounds of workshops take place, offering students the chance to dive deeper into different topics. Participation in the workshops is optional. Additionally, there is a dedicated space where two panel discussions with alumni are held throughout the day. These sessions are open to all students and also voluntary. This setup provides a flexible and engaging environment for students to network, learn, and explore career paths in biomedical sciences.

During the event, students can register for two optional workshop sessions. A variety of informative and practical workshops will be offered, covering different topics to help you develop your skills and knowledge.

The Biomedical Booster Event is aimed at companies, alumni, and master’s students in the biomedical field. The next edition will take place on January 6, 2027. We are currently seeking companies for sponsorship and participation.
